The first specialist AI condition grading service built for collectors, dealers and casual sellers
ItemGrade uses advanced AI vision to assess the condition of antiques and collectibles - delivering professional-standard grading reports in seconds, not weeks.
Every category is graded on its own historically correct scale. Comics are graded on the Overstreet standard established in 1970. Rare books on the antiquarian booksellers scale used for centuries. Trading cards on the pre-company collector standard. Newspaper strips on the Overstreet scale adapted for the medium. Original art on a descriptive standard - because no formal grading company has ever existed for this category. Coins are graded on the Sheldon scale — the universal numismatic standard. Vintage toys use the universal 10 point collector standard. Video games are assessed on a collector standard covering sealed, CIB and loose formats - with seal integrity, label condition, box, manual and cartridge or disc each graded individually. For anything else, the Other category covers general antiques and collectibles using a descriptive condition scale.
Full Overstreet scale from Poor to Mint. Spine, staples, cover and interior assessed separately.
Current collector standard ten-point scale with centering ratios, corner and edge assessment, surface and holo grading.
Antiquarian booksellers scale. Boards, spine, hinges, interior pages and foxing assessed individually.
Descriptive assessment. Production artefacts are never defects. Media stability and paper condition graded.
Collector standard with age-relative paper assessment. Centrefold and completeness checked.
Overstreet scale adapted for strips. Image area always takes priority over margin condition.
Sheldon scale — the universal numismatic standard. Strike, surface, luster, toning and eye appeal all assessed. Cleaning and restoration detection included.
Universal 10 point collector standard. Plastic, diecast, plush and tin all assessed - completeness, surface finish, material condition and packaging individually.
Collector 10 point standard covering sealed, CIB and loose. Box, cartridge or disc, label, manual and seal integrity all assessed individually.
General collectibles and antiques not covered by a specialist category. Descriptive scale assessing overall condition, surface quality, structural integrity and completeness. Restoration and damage detection included.
Built by collectors, for collectors.
